Job summary

Skyland Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia, is seeking a seasonal Porter to support daily hotel operations and assist guests with their needs.

You7;ll greet guests, help with luggage, explain room features, provide local information, and perform light cleaning. Driving a company vehicle is required; opportunities for growth within Delaware North are available across locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• No experience or diploma required.
• Excellent verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with luggage at check-in and check-out, and show them to their room.
• Explain room features, such as locks, ventilation systems, and the television, to guests.
• Provide guests with local information, recommendations, and directions.
• Perform light cleaning duties around the hotel, both inside and out, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping and restroom cleaning in both the front and back of the house.
• Additional housekeeping duties as assigned
• Driving a company vehicle on a daily basis
• Report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for seasonal Porter to join our team at Skyland Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Porter, you will help with the day-to-day operations at the hotel and ensure guests have everything they need during their stay.

Pay

$16.00 – $16.00 / hour

What will you do?
