Job summary

LyvWell Apartments in Lincoln, NE is seeking a versatile maintenance associate to clean offices, lobbies, restrooms and common areas, perform light repairs, painting and carpentry, and help keep our multi-unit property safe and welcoming. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, less than one year of prior experience on a commercial or multi-unit property, and clear English communication.

Computer and smartphone literacy are expected; multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
• Wet- or dry-mop floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, removing rubbish.
• Make minor repairs, painting and carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, landscaping and snow removal.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor surfaces and fixtures; dusts furniture and equipment.
• Replaces light bulbs and transports small equipment between departments.
• Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium, meeting rooms or hall.

Job Description

Overview:

• Cleans offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
• Wet- or dry-mop floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, removing rubbish, pressure washing, gum and graffiti removal
• Make minor repairs, painting and carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, landscaping and snow removal
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Dusts furniture and equipment
• Replaces light bulbs
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments
• Sets up tables and chairs in auditorium, meeting rooms or hall
• This position requires a High School Diploma / GED, or equivalent work experience
• <1 year of required prior experience in working on a commercial or multi-unit residential property

Compensation:

Prevailing Wage Range:

$22.33 - 29.78 hourly

This position is eligible for supplemental benefits wage.
