HES Facilities Management is hiring a General Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of all assigned areas on a full-time 8:30am to 5:00pm shift. Responsibilities include window/glass cleaning, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, carpet care, and restroom sanitizing, with outdoor cleaning near entryways.

The role requires a team-focused approach, physical stamina for a fast-paced environment, reliable transportation, and a background check. High school diploma is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Previous cleaning experience.
• Physical requirements: Lifting up to 50 pounds and extensive walking.

Job Skills / Requirements

General Cleaner 8:30am to 5:00pm

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.

Essential Functions

Window, Glass cleaning. Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, removal or snow and ice, cleaning of desks/walls/ furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.
