Job summary

Fox Motors in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Porter to support the sales team by maintaining vehicle presentation and customer service standards. You will clean and refurbish vehicles, prep them for delivery, and help ensure overall dealership presentation.

The ideal candidate has solid communication, works well in a team, and holds a valid driver's license. This full-time, on-site role offers benefits and opportunities for growth within the Fox Motors family.

Responsibilities

• Washes and waxes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
• Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove dirt and debris.
• Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces with appropriate cleaners and tools.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaners.
• Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Inspects vehicles for dents, scratches and defects.
• Removes window stickers on sold vehicles.
• Ensure 'Fox' emblem is properly positioned on every vehicle.

Fox Motors has a Porter opening in Grand Rapids, MI at Fox Nissan! You would contribute to our overall vision, "Working together moving people throughout life," by maintaining our highest standards for vehicle presentation and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Porter is a team player that supports the sales team to ensure the departments success. As a Porter, you are responsible for cleaning and refurbishing vehicles by upholding both Fox Motors and manufacturer specifications, preparing vehicles for the dealership and/or customer delivery, and assisting with overall vehicle and dealership presentation. Fox Motors is looking for a Porter that likes to stay busy and keep moving with a desire to make a positive impact as part of our Fox Motors family.

Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.

• Washes and waxes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
• Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and/or various cleaning agents.
• Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
• Removes all window stickers on sold vehicles.
• Ensure "Fox" emblem is properly positioned on every vehicle.
