Job summary

Byerly Trailer & Mfg Co Inc. is seeking a full-time yard/lot attendant to move, transport, and park recreational vehicles, fifth wheels, and trailers. You will help maintain the shop and dealership lot and support technicians, advisors, and other departments.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to drive various RVs, and a can-do, team-focused mindset. Work is outdoors with a mix of shop duties and on-site parking responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience at an RV or automotive dealership environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stage and park units for technicians, advisors, and other departments.
• Transport units off property to gas stations, repair facilities, and other locations as needed.
• Empty tanks as required.
• Keep shop and lot clean and organized; general cleanup.
• Run errands for dealership as needed.
• Adhere to dealership safety policies.

Reports to: Department Manager

Summary:

Responsible for moving, transporting, and parking recreational vehicles, fifth wheels and trailers along with maintaining shop and dealership lot.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Stages and parks units for technicians, advisors, and other departments
• Transports units off property to gas stations, repair facilities, and other locations as needed
• Emptying of tanks
• General clean up in the shop including emptying trash, sweeping floors, cleaning windows, and keeping lot clean and organized
• Runs errands as needed for dealership
• Following dealership policies on safety
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Work Environment

This position operates outside and in a shop environment. The employee will be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions including heat and cold. The noise level is moderate to high at times.
