Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Denver is hiring a Porter to support vehicle pre-wash and post-repair cleaning, and to maintain a clean shop and office environment.

You will perform daily housekeeping, assist with vehicle prep and transport, and help keep parking lots orderly. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to multitask with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask and manage several tasks simultaneously.
• Automotive exposure is a plus.
• Clear close vision is required.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior, including trash, floors, and countertops.
• Keep production area clean, manage waste, and organize tools and equipment.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in neat condition, including snow removal as needed.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs; clean vehicles after repairs.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education And/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail

Compensation Details

$15 - 21 / Hour

Supplemental Pay

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
