Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Porter in Burlington, NC (2:30pm–11pm). You will keep facilities clean, empty trash, service restrooms, assist with floor care, and help move heavy items while identifying safety concerns and reporting repairs.

On-the-job training is provided; the role offers a stable, long-term opportunity with potential for growth within our premier industrial facility services team.

Qualifications

• Must have physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and report to staff.
• Reliable transportation to and from the site.
• Ability to follow schedules and stay committed.
• Ability to follow supervisor directions and maintain professionalism.
• Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Supply, clean and service restrooms.
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture.
• Identify and report possible repairs.
• Possible floor work such as steam cleaning carpets, applying wax, buffing, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
