Job summary

PTLA Real Estate Group is seeking a dedicated maintenance associate for in-person work in Bellingham, WA. The role focuses on apartment turnover cleaning, upkeep of common areas, and contributing to curb appeal to maintain a professional community image.

You will support the maintenance team with basic tasks, perform physical duties, and adhere to safety procedures. This is a full-time, on-site position with compensation around $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform apartment turnover cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, counters and fixtures, ensuring apartments are move-in ready.
• Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, fitness centers, and community rooms.
• Pick up trash and debris through the property grounds.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust common areas as needed.
• Help maintain curb appeal and a clean, professional appearance of the community.
• Support the maintenance team with basic tasks as assigned.
