Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Addison Township, IL is looking for a Porter to keep the shop and offices clean and organized. You will pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs, assist with daily housekeeping, and help move vehicles to sublet locations as needed. Attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area, dispose of waste, and organize tools and parts.
• Keep parking lots and grounds tidy, including shoveling sidewalks as needed.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Assist with exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs.
• Transport vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
