Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Portable Sanitation Driver to service routes safely and professionally. You’ll operate a portable sanitation truck, serve diverse customers, and ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards in Florida’s service areas.

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Portable Sanitation Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal Waste & Recycling professionally.
• Work collaboratively to help teammates as needed.
