Mid America Health is seeking a full-time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team. The role is based in Valparaiso, IN, serving children at local schools with portable dental services. Great fit for a clinician seeking a low-stress, non-private practice setting.

The position offers no weekend hours, a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, FSA, HSA) and a company vehicle with a gas/maintenance card. Indiana X-ray License is required.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana X-ray License is a MUST
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies and care for company van and related equipment
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside schools and perform chairside procedures as needed
• Load/unload and set up dental operatory inside school
• Perform various administrative duties
