Job summary

Road & Rail Services is seeking reliable Vehicle Shuttle Drivers to support automotive operations at our Blount Island location in Jacksonville, Florida. This hands-on driving role within an active port facility requires moving vehicles between staging and parking areas while following safety and inventory procedures.

Eligible candidates will drive, park, and inventory vehicles, while adhering to routes and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver\'s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong commitment to safe driving and workplace safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
• Strong attention to vehicle location and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Drive and relocate vehicles throughout the terminal while maintaining an organized inventory.
• Drive vehicles safely between assigned locations within the port facility.
• Park vehicles according to customer and operational requirements.
• Follow designated traffic routes, speed limits, and safety procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions, vehicle concerns, or operational issues to supervision.
• Work closely with other drivers and team members to complete daily production requirements.
• Follow all company, customer, port, and regulatory safety expectations.
• Maintain consistent productivity while protecting customer vehicles from damage.
