Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with six months of hire.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions.
• Proficient in mathematics and measurement.
• Team player with past work experience or activities.

Responsibilities

• Receive pellets into the port, record data to ensure accurate billing.
• Ensure safety of scale area and that loads meet safety criteria.
• Keep scale and ramps clean and free of debris.
• Communicate in a professional manner with suppliers.
• Port of Wilmington specific – operate shuttle wagon as directed.
• Collect samples and test finished goods delivered by truck/rail.
• Maintain QA/QC records and follow Quality SOPs.
• Operate equipment such as Bobcat and Lull to move dust bags.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures.
