Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in diagnostics, fault finding, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience with routine and complex repairs: brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, driveline.
  • Familiarity with Porsche or European vehicle service procedures and OEM parts.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and repair docs.
  • Competence with modern tools: scan tools, lifts, torque tools, measuring devices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Porsche vehicles per standards.
  • Conduct inspections, identify issues, and complete scheduled services.

Role Description

the Porsche Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Arizona, United States. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Porsche vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, identifying issues, completing scheduled services, and documenting all work in accordance with manufacturer and shop standards. The technician will use specialized Porsche diagnostic equipment, follow technical service bulletins, and collaborate with service advisors to communicate findings and repair recommendations. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols, and staying current with Porsche-specific training and updates.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with accurate record-keeping for work orders and service histories.
  • Effective communication skills to work with service advisors, team members, and customers in a professional, respectful manner.
  • Capacity to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment, including adherence to all safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Formal automotive training or certification (e.g., technical school, ASE certifications) is preferred.
  • Previous experience as an automotive technician, ideally with Porsche or high-performance vehicles, is highly beneficial.
