Alignerr is seeking a Population Health Informaticist for AI training. You will evaluate and annotate health data outputs, applying epidemiology and biostatistics knowledge to improve AI’s understanding of population health.

The role is a fully remote hourly contract with flexible scheduling, offering opportunities to impact AI health insights and work across diverse datasets.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule and work on your own terms.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs related to population health data, analytics, and public health strategy for accuracy and quality
• Apply your expertise to assess how well AI handles population-level metrics, health disparities, and epidemiological trends
• Identify gaps, errors, or misleading interpretations in AI-generated health insights

Who You Are

• Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
• Strong analytical thinker with a solid grasp of epidemiology, health metrics, or biostatistics
• Comfortable evaluating data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting outputs
• Able to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely in writing
• Self-directed, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, quality review, or evaluation systems
• Background in public health informatics, health IT, or clinical data management
• Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QGIS, or similar platforms
• Prior work in health equity, chronic disease surveillance, or community health programs
