Job summary

HOTEL PASEO, Autograph Collection in Palm Desert, CA, seeks a Pool Bartender to serve guests with courteous, timely beverage service, ensuring superior guest satisfaction at a boutique luxury hotel.

You will stock the bar daily, prepare garnishes, greet guests, and document orders while maintaining cleanliness and enforcing liquor regulations. Prior bartending experience and TIPS/CPR certification are favored. Full-time and part-time roles available.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling, totals, and making change.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily, including stocking beverages and supplies.
• Cut and store fresh fruit, garnishes, juices, and perishables each shift.
• Greet guests, document orders, and prepare drinks using standardized recipes and portion control.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Account for products served via electronic cash register and expenditure sheets.
• Manage cash bank balance and reconcile at shift end.
• Comply with state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
