Job summary

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Pool Model Barback to support bartenders by keeping outlets clean, stocked, and guest-ready. You will assist with beverage service, bar stock checks, and opening/closing duties while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

This role requires a high school diploma and 6 months of F&B service experience, plus TAM/Alcohol Awareness, SNHD Health Card, and Nevada Gaming License.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of experience in Bar Porter, Apprentice Bartender, Bartender, Food Server, or other F&B service role.
• Must obtain a TAM/Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Must obtain a SNHD Health Card.
• Must obtain a Nevada Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all equipment, tools, and supplies; polishes glassware; ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Ensures proper setup, labeling, stocking and delivery of beverages, supplies, glasses, and ice.
• Delivers orders from warehouse to bars as assigned.
• Maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar area.
• Performs opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
• Checks quality and amount of bar stock and supplies; prepares display and maintains tools.
• Rings beverages when bartending and follows cash handling procedures.
• Promotes excellent guest service and addresses guest inquiries promptly.
• Resolves guest complaints within authority or escalates to management.
• Notifies supervisor or security of unusual events or theft.
• Performs additional duties as requested.
