Job summary

Poolwerx Florence is hiring a Pool Technician for residential and commercial pools. The role involves cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining water quality while communicating with clients and working outdoors. A valid license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and 1–3 years of pool experience are preferred.

The position offers a company vehicle, tools, PTO, and performance bonuses. Hours are Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays; training is provided and the work is performed at client

• Be 21 or older for motor vehicle insurance purposes.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• One to three years of experience in swimming pool cleaning or maintenance preferred.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug tests.
• Proficient in use of smartphones and computers.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of or experience working with mechanical systems, tools or machines.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, equipment maintenance and pool mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain water quality by testing chemical levels and adding necessary treatments.
• Repair and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Document all services performed and report any issues or additional repairs needed.
• Clean all debris from the skimmer and pump baskets; backwash or clean the filter as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients regarding pool care and maintenance schedules.

Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
