Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Surgical Production/ Sterile Processing position to support the operating room with proper handling of sterilization supplies, equipment and instruments.

Responsibilities include care, packaging, inspection and reprocessing of instruments, plus inventory and distribution of OR equipment and supplies. Industry experience is required; SPD program graduate and certification preferred.

Qualifications

• SPD experience and familiarity with surgical instrumentation handling.
• Graduate of SPD or Surgical Technician training program preferred.
• Certification preferred.

Knowledge of sterilization supplies, equipment and instruments. Duties involve care, packaging, inspection, cleaning and reprocessing of surgical instrumentation. Inventory and distribution of equipment and supplies for the operating room.
Estimated pay range for this position is $21.00 / hour.
Qualifications
Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Additional Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of SPD experience.

• Graduate of SPD or Surgical Technician training program preferred.
• Certification preferred.
