Job summary

Poolwerx USA is seeking a skilled Pool Service & Repair Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial pool equipment while delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday with no weekend work, and includes a company vehicle for daily routes.

You’ll work with the latest pool equipment and technology, receive paid training, and have opportunities for career advancement within Poolwerx’s growing team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in pool equipment repair or related technical field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old for company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• State licenses or trade certifications are preferred but not required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain pool equipment while delivering customer service.
• Repair, replace, and install pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, chlorinators, salt systems, lighting, valves, plumbing.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
• Inspect equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Identify repair opportunities and communicate recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete repairs safely following manufacturer specs and local codes.
• Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
• Keep the company vehicle stocked, organized, and maintained.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships.
• Collaborate with the service department regarding repair scheduling and customer communication.

What You'll Do

As a Pool Service & Repair Technician, you'll inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial swimming pool equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Inspect pool equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Identify repair opportunities and communicate recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete repairs safely while following manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and applicable local codes.
• Maintain accurate service records, repair notes, and work orders.
• Keep company vehicle stocked, organized, and maintained.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships.
• Collaborate with the service department regarding repair scheduling and customer communication.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pool equipment repair, pool service, mechanical repair, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or a related technical field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old for company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
