Job summary

The Keller Pointe is seeking a lifeguard to monitor pool activities, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies with first aid and CPR. The role emphasizes safety, water quality, and guest service in a busy, community recreation environment.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old with Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certification (or able to obtain) and willing to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, to support pool operations and special events.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Current American Red Cross Shallow Water Lifeguard (>6 feet), CPR, and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Lifeguard certification course offered through The Keller Pointe prior to employment start date.
• Must pass post-offer tests: Swim Test and Timed Event.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities and enforce rules to ensure guest safety.
• Respond to emergencies with first aid and CPR as needed.
• Maintain water quality and pool area cleanliness.
• Assist with setup, maintenance, and events; engage with guests.
• Attend mandatory trainings and adapt to varying shifts including evenings and weekends.
