Job summary

Poolwerx Keller is hiring a Pool Retail Sales Associate to help customers, learn pool care, and join a friendly team. This entry-level, part-time role includes comprehensive paid training and opportunities to grow into leadership, repair, retail, or management tracks.

You'll assist customers, test water when trained, recommend products, stock the showroom, and keep the store welcoming. Availability includes Saturdays; on-site work in a team setting.

Qualifications

• No pool industry experience required; we'll train you.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for helping customers.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver an outstanding retail experience during every visit.
• Perform professional water testing and explain results (when trained).
• Recommend pool chemicals, water treatment products, and maintenance solutions based on test results.
• Educate customers on pool and spa care, equipment maintenance, and seasonal care.
• Assist customers with selecting pool supplies, replacement parts, and equipment.
• Receive, stock, organize, and merchandise retail inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized showroom and assist with promotions.

What You'll Do

As a Pool Retail Sales Associate, you'll provide exceptional customer service while helping customers maintain beautiful, healthy swimming pools and spas.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver an outstanding retail experience during every visit.
• Perform professional computerized water testing and explain results.
• Recommend pool chemicals, water treatment products, and maintenance solutions based on water test results.
• Educate customers on proper pool and spa care, equipment maintenance, and seasonal pool maintenance.
• Assist customers with selecting pool supplies, accessories, replacement parts, and equipment.
• Receive, stock, organize, and merchandise retail inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail showroom.
• Assist with basic pool cleaner diagnostics and minor equipment repairs after training.
• Help implement in-store promotions, merchandising displays, and seasonal campaigns.
• Support the store's social media presence by assisting with customer engagement and content opportunities.
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service and product knowledge.

What We're Looking For

• No pool industry experience required—we'll train you!
• Previous retail, customer service, cashier, or sales experience is helpful but not required.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for helping customers.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Comfortable learning technical information about pool and spa care.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with Facebook or other social media platforms is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and occasional holidays.
