PB Pool Doc is seeking a dependable Repair Technician for outdoor, hands-on work in the Fort Lauderdale area. This full-time position services clients with top-tier pool maintenance and repairs, including pumps, filters and automation systems.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, monitor chemical levels, and communicate with customers while maintaining safety and quality. Competitive pay and benefits accompany growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters and automation systems.
• Replace or repair valves, motors, seals and lights.
• Perform leak detection and repair in plumbing and pool structures.
• Troubleshoot pool automation systems and electrical components.
• Assist in routine maintenance including brushing, vacuuming, skimming and backwashing.
• Monitor chemical levels and balance water during service visits.
• Identify signs of wear or unsafe conditions in pool surfaces or systems.
• Communicate repairs needed, performed or pending to customers.
• Stay current with industry standards and repair techniques through training.
• Identify equipment models and part numbers for replacement.
• Use mobile apps or service software to track jobs and update work orders (Skimmer).
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues with pool equipment; including pumps, filters, heaters, timers, chlorinators and automation systems
• Replace or repair defective components such as valves, motors, seals and lights
• Perform leak detection and repair in plumbing and pool structures
• Troubleshoot and fix pool automation systems and electrical components
• Assist in routine maintenance; including brushing, vacuuming, skimming and backwashing filters
• Monitor chemical levels and balance water using appropriate chemicals as needed during service visits
• Identify signs of wear, damage or unsafe conditions in pool surfaces or systems
• Communicate clearly with customers about repairs needed, performed or pending
• Stay current with industry standards, products and repair techniques through training
• Identify equipment models and part numbers for replacement
• Use mobile apps or service software to track jobs and update work orders (Skimmer)
• Performs related duties as assigned
