Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Pool Radiology Technologist for Inpatient Imaging on a Per Diem schedule (7A-11P) in Boca Raton, FL. The role involves performing radiographic imaging under physician supervision, with flexibility to support front desk duties and related tasks as needed.

Minimum experience is less than 1 year, with required licenses including BLS and ARRT Radiography cert/eligibility. This position supports department quality and patient-care goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Radiography certification or eligibility.
• Six months' acute care experience preferred.
• Competent in vitals, phlebotomy, EKG and front desk duties as needed.
• Demonstrates change agility and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiographic imaging under physician direction with ALARA principles.
• Participate in department quality improvement processes to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Support patient workflow, including front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs and intake when required.

Description

Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging including under the general direction of a physician, fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity insuring the principles of ALARA are achieved. Participates in the department quality improvement processes insuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Depending on departmental business needs, this position will support department's patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient in-take, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.

Additional Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• ARRT Radiography certified or eligible.
• Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vitals signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc.
• Change agility and flexibility a must.
