Job summary

Claffey Pools is hiring a dependable Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician to service residential pools on an assigned route. This full-time, year-round role offers hands-on outdoor work, with a company truck and fuel provided.

Training is available for motivated candidates and earnings can reach up to $65,000 during peak season based on workload. Ideal candidates have some pool maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude, coupled with reliable attendance and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with pool maintenance is preferred, but training is possible.
• Knowledge of pool water chemistry is a plus.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly maintenance on residential pools.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry.
• Add chemicals according to procedures.
• Brush, skim, vacuum and clean pools as needed.
• Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
• Identify and report equipment problems or repairs.
• Maintain records of visits and services.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Maintain company truck, tools, and equipment.
