Job summary

ASP – America’s Swimming Pool Company in the United States is seeking a dedicated pool technician to provide on-site cleaning and maintenance for assigned customers. You will follow established cleaning methods, safely handle pool chemicals, diagnose and repair equipment, and manage a weekly route with daily tasks.

The role involves stocking chemicals, maintaining inventory, and using the Pool Ops app. Opportunities include renovations and upselling additional equipment to enhance customer

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensing requirements per state (if applicable).
• Certified Pool Operator license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site pool cleaning and maintenance for assigned customers.
• Follow established cleaning methods and safely handle chemicals.
• Diagnose and repair pool equipment including pumps, heaters, and filters.
• Manage weekly pool route and daily repair tasks.
• Stock and manage pool chemicals and adjust water chemistry.
• Maintain truck inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Use the Pool Ops mobile platform on a smartphone.
• Identify upsell opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
• Perform renovation work such as re-plaster, tile work, and deck projects (preferred).
• Adhere to ASP standards of integrity, knowledge, passion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site pool cleaning and maintenance to all assigned customers.
• Follow established pool cleaning methods and safely handle chemicals.
• Diagnose and repair pool equipment, including pumps, heaters, filters, timers, cleaners, blowers, lights, automated systems, chlorinators, valves, PVC, copper, and galvanized plumbing.
• Manage a weekly pool route and daily schedule of repair tasks.
• Stock and manage pool chemicals, adjust water chemistry each week.
• Maintain equipment inventory on the truck and replenish as needed.
• Use the Pool Ops mobile platform via a smartphone.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional equipment or enhance the customer experience.
• Perform renovation work such as re‑plaster (e.g., PebbleTech®), tile repair/removal, deck texture/seal, and pavers installation/repair (preferred).
• Adhere to ASP standards: integrity, superior knowledge, passion, customer focus, accountability, respect, excellence, and safety first.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Licensed as required by state (Florida CPC, Texas Appliance License, California D35) – if applicable.
• High school degree preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator License preferred.
• Knowledge of 110 V and 220 V electrical equipment is preferred.
