Job summary

MGM Resorts International seeks a Lifeguard at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas to help create a safe, relaxing poolside experience for guests. You will monitor water, assist with guest needs, and contribute to WOW moments that elevate the resort stay.

The starting rate is $15.00 hourly. Candidates must be 16+ and able to obtain Lifeguard certification if hired. MGM Resorts offers free meals, parking, health benefits, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old or older.
• Must be able to swim and obtain Lifeguard certification if hired.
• Ability to respond to emergencies calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety by watching over water and deck areas.
• Report incidents/accidents to a supervisor and complete documentation.
• Direct guests to exits and poolside locations.
• Greet guests and assist with poolside needs (seating, towels, hours, ADA needs).
• Maintain pool area setup, cleaning, and overall guest experience.
