Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is hiring an Invasive Radiological Technologist to support physicians during interventional and surgical procedures. You will manage supplies, monitor patients, and ensure safe operation of radiographic equipment.

The role emphasizes patient education, advocacy, and collaboration with the care team, with Florida licensure and ARRT credentials required or pending one year of interventional experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT certification and Florida license required; BLS certification.
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARR T credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with patient prep and intra/post-interventional procedures.
• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment safely and effectively.
• Educate and act as a liaison for patients and families.

Description

The Invasive Radiological Technologist provides fundamental technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patient monitoring and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible for safe and effective operation or radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures. Is a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.

Additional Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school or program of Radiological Technology and current Florida license required.
• Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credentials and proof of eligibility for advanced certification required (VI, CV, CI, MR, CT, RCIS, or RCES) upon completion of one year full-time work experience in interventional cardiovascular services.
• Completes a minimum of 12 CEUs annually (10 CEUs must be CV related).
