Job summary

Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach, FL seeks a Histology Technician to join our pathology support team. You will perform histological preparations and deliver quality slides to the pathologist, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a not-for-profit hospital environment.

Minimum experience is less than 1 year; qualifying degrees include High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper. Licenses listed include Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Complete knowledge of Histology lab procedures including cryostat, gross room, accessioning, embedding, microtomy and staining.
• TN – Clinical Laboratory Technologist or SU – Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required.
• Either license must have qualification in histology technologist.

Responsibilities

• To perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section's Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner.

Description

To perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section's Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner. Estimated pay range for this position is $40.50 / hour depending on shift as applicable.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications

• Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.
