Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Thonotosassa, FL area. You will maintain and repair swimming pool heat pumps in residential and commercial settings, traveling to client sites as needed to meet demand.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and clear communication with customers. The role requires at least 2 years of HVAC or pool equipment experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC or related field training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in HVAC or pool equipment maintenance/repair.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of heat pump systems.
• Certifications in HVAC or pool equipment maintenance are a plus.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: perform routine checks on heat pumps, cleaning, testing and adjustments.
• Repairs: diagnose and fix faults in heat pump systems, electrical and mechanical.
• Troubleshooting: identify issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Customer Service: communicate with clients about issues, repairs and usage care.
• Documentation: maintain records of service visits and activities.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety protocols and regulations.
