Qualifications

• Vacuum pool floors, steps, and walls.

• Document pool issues and communicate status to management and customers.
• Install new underwater lights.
• Use certified pool equipment for maintenance.

You’ll also be answering customers' pool maintenance-related questions in a professional and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum pool floors, steps, walls, tiles, pump baskets, and more
• Test pool water and balance the water chemistry based on those results
• Document pool issues and repair needs, and communicate the status of the equipment to both management and customers
• Install new underwater lights
• Use certified pool equipment to clean swimming pools and water filters
• Test pH levels for water quality and add or maintain chemicals levels
• Diagnose faulty equipment to determine if it needs to be fixed or replaced
• Instruct clients on best practices for maintaining their pool

Qualifications

• Prior experience with pool chemicals, maintenance techniques and equipment, strongly preferred
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment and possess dexterity
• Valid driver’s license required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions
• Clean driving record and ability to drive safely and courteously, obeying signs and driving rules
• Comfortable working with paperwork and software management systems for pool service
• Great attitude and willingness to learn continually
• Excellent communication skills with clients and team members, and ability to complete all work in a timely and accurate manner
