FirstService Residential in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Pool Attendant to oversee the pool area, make safety announcements, and maintain an inventory of poolside equipment for guest use.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in hospitality, strong customer service, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. Multilingual skills are a plus; full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Completion of College level courses in Hospitality is strongly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Move and stack beach lounge chairs & umbrellas.
• Submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Must be service oriented.
• Picks up debris from the pool and possesses basic cleaning skills.
• Checks sports equipment to ensure it is in order for guest use.
• Reports broken sports equipment to the manager so replacement equipment can be ordered.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Must be accessible to and approachable to residents/guests.
• Familiar with Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out related procedures.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.

The pool attendant is responsible for overseeing the pool area, making safety announcements and maintaining an inventory of all poolside equipment to be always available for guest use. Experienced in the Hospitality Industry, serves residents by providing information and services.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Move and stack beach lounge chairs & umbrellas.
• Must be able to submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Must be service oriented.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Completion of College level courses in Hospitality is strongly desirable.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
• Walk and climb stairs; Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
• Ability to navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions.
• Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
