Job summary

etch seeks a Polysomnography Technician to proficiently perform sleep studies, attach monitoring equipment, observe and document recordings, and educate patients and families on procedures in a clinical sleep center.

Experience in pediatric sleep medicine is preferred; BRPT or ABSM certification is desirable, CPR/BLS maintained, and an accredited program leading to an associate degree meets the minimum.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or polysomnography program with required competencies.
• BRPT or ABSMSleep Tech credentials preferred; CPR/BLS certification maintained.
• Pediatric sleep medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attach monitoring equipment and observe recordings, documenting accurately.
• Explain procedures to patients and families and educate on Center policies.
• Set up and calibrate polysomnography equipment; ensure safety throughout testing.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events following center protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and support patient safety interventions when needed.
