Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program and at least two years’ experience in a full-service sleep disorders center.
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (or registry eligible).
• BLS required within 30 days of employment.
• Must have the ability to work well alone for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs various polysomnograms or other sleep disorders testing under the direction of the Sleep Center Medical Director.
• Responsible for attaching electrodes, monitoring patients, documenting observations, collecting data, and reporting information to the physician.
• Responsible for CPAP titration and oxygen therapy, scoring reports, and assigned quality and performance improvement activities.
• Provides patient education and follows standards, regulations, and policies.
