Required Hours: 7pm-7am, possible days Sunday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Independently performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring of data to ensure a high degree of quality services. Helps less experienced technologists with tasks as needed or as requested by the Polysomnography Coordinator, Director of Neurology Services, or Medical Director.

For non registered: With the assistance of a Registered Polysomnography Technologist, performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring to ensure a high degree of quality services.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school graduate or equivalent.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy. Other health‑related experience might qualify.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Some college coursework in basic science of sleep medicine preferred.

For Non Registered

• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy preferred. Other health‑related experience might qualify.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Some college coursework in basic science or sleep medicine preferred. Eligible to sit for the sleep boards offered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in a sleep laboratory servicing adults preferred.
