Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Polysomnography Technologist to perform diagnostic testing and scoring in a hospital sleep lab. You will work under supervision of a senior technologist to ensure high-quality sleep study results and patient care in a dynamic clinical setting.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, with 2 years of experience in polysomnography or related fields, and BRPT eligibility is preferred for credentialing opportunities.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Some college coursework in basic science or sleep medicine preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a sleep laboratory servicing adults preferred.
• BRPT eligibility preferred (to sit for BRPT sleep boards).

• With the assistance of a Registered Polysomnography Technologist, performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring to ensure a high degree of quality services.

• Some college coursework in basic science or sleep medicine Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy Preferred and
• 2 years of experience in a sleep laboratory servicing adults Preferred or
• Other health related experience might qualify

Licenses and Certifications
