Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPT) for our Riverside Sleep Clinic. This 0.9 FTE role covers comprehensive polysomnography testing, scoring, and analysis in a multidisciplinary sleep clinic addressing OSA, insomnia, narcolepsy, and more.

The position requires a solid foundation in health sciences, completion of polysomnography training, and BLS; candidates with RPSGT or registry timeline will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in health sciences or enrolled in Polysomnography training with completion.
• 1 year experience in a healthcare environment.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc, Red Cross or MTN).
• RPSGT certification or board registry completion within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Collects, analyzes, and integrates patient information to set final testing parameters in conjunction with the physician.
• Performs routine and complex equipment care and maintenance.
• Prepares and calibrates equipment required for testing.
• Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to the patient.
• Evaluates sleep study equipment and inventory.
• Performs Polysomnographic Record Scoring.
• Performs advanced Polysomnography procedures.
• Supports diagnostic documentation with IT systems; strong computer skills required.
