BayCare Health System seeks a Polysomnographic Tech II for the Sleep Disorders Center at Morton Plant Hospital. This full-time night shift (6:30PM - 7:00AM) performs center procedures to AASM/AAST/BRPT standards.

Requirements include at least 1 year in polysomnography and EEG, plus RRT/CRT or equivalent. Education options include a high school diploma or technical degrees in polysomnography, EEG, or respiratory therapy; BLS and BRPT/RPSGT credentials are desired.

Formación

• Polysomnography experience required (1 year).
• EEG experience required (1 year).
• RRT/CRT or equivalent respiratory therapy credential with 1 year experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Sleep Disorders Center procedures per AASM/AAST/BRPT standards.
• Supervise Sleep Technologist I when needed.

The Polysomnographic Technologist II is responsible for the performance of all the Sleep Disorders Center procedures in accordance with technical standards in the essential job functions approved by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST), and the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). A Sleep Technologist II can provide supervision of a Sleep Technologist I.

Experience

Required:

• Polysomnography - 1 year required
• Electroencephalography (EEG) - 1 year required
• OR Respiratory Therapist (RRT) 1 year required
• Preferred
• 1 year Polysomnography

Education

Required:

• High school or equivalent
• Technical Diploma/Associates Degree - Polysomnographic; Or Technical - Electroencephalogram (EEG); Or Technical Respiratory Therapy

Credentials

Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RPSGT (polysomnography) / RRT/CRT / Relevant Specialty
