Description

Education Requirements: Current AHA BLS certification for healthcare providers. High school diploma or GED and currently enrolled in an accredited educational program leading to a certification by a nationally recognized certification board in sleep technology (AASM, BRPT, or NBRC). OR Associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology, respiratory, or nursing. OR Registry eligible for credentialing in polysomnography.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain sleep study related equipment and inventory.
• Review and evaluate sleep studies, provide appropriate feedback to staff.

Physical Demands

Sleep Trainees. Supervised By: Lead Polysomnography (PSG) Technologist, Sleep Center Director, & Sleep Center Office Manager, as appropriate.
