Qualifications

  • 1 year experience as a Polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor polygraph recordings and audiovisual equipment to ensure patient safety and test quality.
  • Independently perform comprehensive sleep studies in a clinical setting.
  • Explain procedures and prepare patients for testing.

Join our sleep medicine team at Providence Medical Group's Santa Rosa, Ca location , serving Sonoma and surrounding counties. We're seeking experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) to help diagnose and treat pediatric and adult sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy.

As a seasoned RPSGT, you will have the opportunity to work with our Board-Certified sleep medicine physicians who utilize some of the industry's finest technologies to correctly diagnose and treat sleep-related conditions.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A current RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification
  • A current CA (California) Polysomnographic Technologist License
  • 1 year of experience as a Polysomnographic technologist

This is a full-time, night-shift opportunity working three 12-hour shifts per week, offering the chance to build meaningful relationships with patients while independently performing comprehensive sleep studies in a supportive clinical environment. Under the supervision of the Manager, this position works independently and conducts polysomnographic testing. The PSGT safely operates sophisticated medical equipment used to record sleep/wake physiology, explains procedures, prepares patients and applies recording devices. Key responsibilities include monitoring polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety, test quality, sleep/wake data and other physiological events.

Required Qualifications:
