Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood is seeking a Sleep Technologist to support comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center sleep testing and therapeutic interventions. You will educate patients, assist in center operations, and may oversee other sleep center staff under supervision of the medical director.
The role requires CPR certification, an accredited sleep technology program or STEP completion, and eligibility for RST/BRPT credentials as applicable.
A sleep technologist works under general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care, and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is able to perform the duties defined for a sleep technician and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff. The sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology.
