Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to perform overnight sleep studies, apply sensors, and document data with precision. You will ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining equipment and following protocols.
The role requires BRPT RPSGT certification, with ABRET registration preferred and BLS certification mandatory. A polysomnography program of at least one year or an ABSM-based associate degree is expected.
As our Polysomnographic Technician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders by conducting comprehensive sleep studies. Every day you will prepare patients for overnight sleep studies, meticulously apply and monitor physiological sensors, accurately acquire and document polysomnographic data, and ensure a comfortable and safe environment for patients throughout their study. To be successful in this role, you will possess an expert understanding of sleep study protocols, demonstrate exceptional patient care and communication skills, and exhibit meticulous attention to detail in data acquisition and analysis while adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards.
