Job summary

Select Water Solutions is seeking a Polymer Scientist to develop, optimize, and Commercialize polymer products for oilfield applications. The role emphasizes hands-on laboratory work in polymer synthesis, emulsion polymerization, and formulation development, with collaboration across technology and manufacturing teams to scale promising innovations.

You will design experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings while ensuring safety and documentation standards are met.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of industry experience in polymer chemistry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize polymers and formulations for oilfield applications.
• Design and execute experiments for polymer performance evaluation and product improvement.
• Support scale-up from laboratory development through pilot and commercial manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot polymerization, formulation, and product-performance issues using data-driven approaches.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and cross-functional teams to optimize processes.
