Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse and blending environment.
• Knowledge of material types and specifications related to polymers.
• Good math, language, and reading skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Knowledge of proper PPE requirements.
• Functional knowledge of handling rail cars and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and blend material per the specifications.
• Document all final blends including date, time, blender name, components, location, weight and operator completing the blend form.
• Communicate with operations manager for production runs and any equipment concerns.
• Ensure tracks are clear; assist on all switches and report damages.
• Pull all incoming/outgoing samples for lab analysis.
• Wash and dry all empty silos, blenders and railcars prior to loading.
• Ensure proper seals for loaded railcars.
• Inspect and connect hoses for loading bulk trucks; complete transloading per work order.
• Follow safe procedures and PPE requirements; maintain a clean, productive work environment.
• Perform visual checks of machinery and escalate issues to management or maintenance.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
