Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking an Application Engineer focused on polyiso insulation panel manufacturing and applications. You will act as the primary technical resource for key building materials segments, translating customer needs into product strategies and growth initiatives. Travel approximately 40% to North America.

The role partners with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and R&D to support qualification, trials, and commercialization, driving profitable growth and customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in building materials, insulation, polyiso, roofing, gypsum, composites, or related industries.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles and cross-functional project leadership.
• Experience leading product qualifications, plant trials, and customer-driven development projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for Nonwovens customers across polyiso insulation, roofing, gypsum, and related building envelope applications.
• Develop understanding of customer manufacturing processes and product requirements; support product qualifications and commercialization.
• Identify opportunities to improve product performance, manufacturing efficiency, and customer value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and R&D to drive growth and strengthen OC's competitive position.
