Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking an Extrusion Operator C in Seguin, TX to run and adjust extrusion lines producing polyethylene tubing. You will follow production goals, manage materials, and train newer operators while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation, good mechanical aptitude, and dependable attendance. You will troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, and support a productive team environment.

Qualifications

• Willing to work a 2-2-3 schedule with planned day/night rotation.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts.
• Willing to lift 30 pounds routinely.
• Willing to perform a push of 35 pounds of force for 350 feet.
• Willing to move empty spools (Large) 10 ft and place on a 4 ft platform.
• Basic understanding of machine operations and adjustments.
• Good technical skills – some mechanical background.
• Good attendance and work habits.
• Good communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work non-standard hours.
• Capable of managing job-related stress and fostering productive interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust multiple polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with related equipment.
• Work from production goals, schedules, and specifications in coordination with teams.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and requisition items as needed.
• Assist in training new operators and relieve team members during breaks.
• Maintain production, quality and equipment records; monitor quality tests.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs; report problems to maintenance.
• Perform die changes, changeovers, shut downs, and startups.
• Operate lifting equipment, carts, and inline print presses; ensure safety.
• Keep work areas clean and fill out skid tickets; move materials as directed.
