Job summary

Peterson Farms, Inc. is seeking a Bagger Operator to support polybag machine uptime across multiple work centers in Hart, MI. You will perform setup, adjust and operate machines, monitor quality, and ensure products meet customer specifications and GMP standards.

The role requires basic machine operation skills, ability to read instructions, and willingness to work as part of a production team. This is a full-time on-site position with safety and quality outlined in GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience operating polybag machinery or similar equipment is desirable.
• Ability to read and follow written job instructions and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and operation of polybag machines and related equipment.
• Load programs during setup to meet scheduled product specifications.
• Make minor machine adjustments for packaging sizes and weights.
• Monitor equipment and report variances to maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely; may use PC systems.
• Conduct line and equipment changeovers; ensure product quality meets standards.
• Uphold GMP and sanitation rules; contribute to a safe work environment.
• Assist with data collection and waste weighing as needed.
• Support team as required to meet daily production goals.
