North Shore Strategies on Long Island, NY is seeking Political Canvassers for seasonal, fieldwork across Long Island. Earn $25/hour with 4–5 hour shifts. Start date 09/23/2026 and end 11/03/2026.

You will engage voters face-to-face to inform, persuade, and mobilize support for Democratic candidates and initiatives. Responsibilities include door-to-door canvassing, collecting petition signatures, and reporting data daily.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered voter in your state of residence (for petitioning tasks).
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week when a program is active.
• Strong belief in progressive values and civic participation.
• Prior experience in canvassing, sales, customer service, or community organizing is a plus, not required.

North Shore Strategies is seeking motivated and professional Political Canvassers to support our grassroots field efforts across Long Island, NY. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, outgoing communicator who is passionate about civic engagement and committed to promoting Democratic causes. Political Canvassers are on the front lines of our campaign operations, having direct conversations with voters to inform, persuade, and mobilize support for candidates and initiatives.

About the Role
As a Political Canvasser, you'll play a critical role in the democratic process through face-to-face voter engagement. Responsibilities typically include delivering campaign messages, collecting petition signatures, and building lasting support for candidates and issues in your community.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person voter outreach through door-to-door canvassing
