Job summary

Cornwell Quality Tools Co. is seeking a Polishing Associate to operate grinding and polishing machinery, finishing metal parts to exact tolerances. You will set up fixtures and belts, inspect parts for quality, and perform routine equipment checks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow prints and routings.
• Strong attention to detail with little to no product rejections.
• Ability to use measuring tools (e.g., gauges, calipers, and micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to grind, polish, and finish metal parts.
• Setup, operate and change fixtures and belts that grind and/or polish internal and external surfaces of metal parts.
• Assemble, inspect, and ensure quality of product parts.
• Perform equipment checks and follow proper handling procedures.
