Job summary

José Andrés Group is seeking a Polisher to ensure all glassware, silverware, and chinaw are spotless and ready for service. You will support the front-of-house by upholding the restaurant’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced fine-dining environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided and opportunities for growth exist within the group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fine-dining or hospitality setting preferred but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.

• Carefully polish and inspect all cutlery, glassware, and chinaware to ensure they are spotless and streak-free.
• Handle delicate items with care to avoid breakage or damage.
• Organize and store polished items in designated areas for easy access by service staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in polishing and storage areas.
• Follow proper hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas when needed.
• Communicate any shortages or breakages to supervisors promptly.
• Support other back-of-house duties as assigned.
